Wildlife Photography

Wildlife photography for me is one of the most challenging but also the most rewarding genres of photography. As I much as I love the photos and prints, the most satisfying part of it for me is being "accepted" by a wild animal: the moment they know you are there but have become so comfortable with your presence they simply go about their normal business. The naturalist John Muir said it best: "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks..."

(Note: All animals I photograph are wild and unbaited with the exception of some of the birds of prey which are undergoing rehabilitation at professional facilities after having been injured. Non-wild photos are noted as such).
